Molly & Max Veterinary practice in Fulham, London have designed their clinic from the ground up to ensure their pets get the best possible treatment. Ella, the vet, originally from Australia was lucky in finding an empty shell of a building that allowed her to design the building with no constraints. She is a great believer in using technology to help animals. The contrast with other London veterinary practices is huge, with most in central occupying town houses with the constraints therein. Awkward rooms with the difficulties of moving sick animals from the operational tables to the cages downstairs. At Molly and Max, everything is on the ground floor.

This London practice is located in a quiet road, with a couple of parking spots just outside the front door. Or I should say doors, ensuring no escape opportunities for the pets here. The reception area is split into two; the one furthest from the reception is for the cats, so they do not get frightened by the dogs.

Molly & Max have a couple of dedicated consultation rooms including refrigerators for the medicines and all the other equipment. All the tools and equipment are close to where they are needed.

Dogs have a lovely area, with great cages in fibreglass which are warm and non-reflective, in sizes to suit the terrier up to a Great Dane large breed size. The cats are on their own with slightly different cages, with clear easy clean glass windows all along one wall, so they are not upset by the other cats.

To further reduce stress for animals Molly and Max have a couple of cat and rabbit only consultation periods, if your cat is particularly nervous.

Molly & Max also have the equipment and facilities to do many of the common blood tests in-house, thereby eliminating a long wait for the results.

There is the possibility for washing, even big dogs, in their special dog bath and there is the capability of piping high oxygen into a number of areas to help animals that would benefit.

The X-Ray room has a digital X-Ray that can be viewed from their networked computers, including in the operating theatre. The operating theatre, as well as having a plasma screen to see x-Rays, has anti-bacterial easy clean surfaces and the practice is under a positive pressure air system. The air conditioning and underground heating will ensure the conditions are
As well as the incredible premises and equipment, they also have a very experienced team. Ella is supported by Alice who has worked as a Vet in private practises in London and Hong Kong. They are supported by two Veterinary nurses, Belle and Kathy. Whilst the focus is on the pet, they are also great for the client, with early mornings and late opening hours.
Well worth visiting Molly and Max Veterinary Clinic, if you are looking for a caring high technology vet.
